The platform we needed — didn’t exist.
CVP was started by a former CISO. Years inside enterprise security taught a hard lesson: the dangerous stuff lives in the gaps. Remote offices the SOC never gets to. Third-party sites where the MSP doesn’t have time. Branch networks where EDR coverage is partial and the rest is invisible.
Big enterprise platforms are built for HQ — where there’s budget, staff, and clean infrastructure. They don’t scale down to where most of the risk actually sits. Most security tools are looking where the light is.
CVP was built to operate where the lights are out. One small appliance on the edge, running the whole detection and validation pipeline locally. Every device on the network classified, scored, and explained — without sending raw traffic anywhere it doesn’t need to go.

Every score, every classification, every recommended action is produced by a rule the customer can audit. The same inputs always produce the same answer. AI is never the decision-maker.

Large language models are excellent translators and explainers. They are not appropriate judges of network security state. CVP uses AI only in the explanation layer — and signs every output it produces.
